Applying for a job or submitting your CV
We will use information you submit as part of any application for the recruitment process, any decision making and if relevant, onboarding. Based on legitimate interest, we use the information requested for:
- collecting and reviewing information on CVs and responses to our online application,
- shortlisting candidates,
- collecting further information at interview or other screening,
- verifying candidates ahead of offer, and
- processing offers of employment.
We may request equality monitoring information for diversity purposes. This is voluntary and you will not be disadvantaged by opting out. Information you provide is anonymous and used only to analyse trends at recruitment stages to help us improve access for underrepresented groups. We will not use information in any way that could not be reasonably expected in a recruitment and onboarding process.
Recruitment partners/agencies confirm they advise applicants they submit of their submission to Knights Brown.
We may keep your details for future vacancies where we anticipate recruiting for similar roles in the short term. We will retain your information for a maximum period of 12 months. You can request us not to do so at any time by emailing data.protection@knightsbrown.co.uk. You may use the same address to notify us should your contact details change during this period of retention.
After 12 months, we will advise you of our intention to erase your application and any information we hold about you. You are not required to respond; your information will be erased automatically.
All information held is stored securely in our Application Tracking System.
